Mellow with dried fruit and earth flavors. For the price ($21 for me), it is a nice Wednesday night wine. I wouldn't crack it open for special occasions but this would be really good with some BBQ ribs or grilled meats.

I had this wine as part of a flight at a wine bar. It was slightly acidic but otherwise a bit flat on the nose. The flavor was also acidic, slightly tart, with a hint of berries. It was fine as the third wine in this flit, but I don't think this is a bottle I would want in stock in my cellar.

Ditto last note; Spanish Garnacha, soft mouthfeel; ok.

Friday Night Double Blind Tasting $40+ (Bin 75): Sweet dark raspberry, low tannin, very bright acid, higher alcohol; swore this was Spanish Garnacha; 88-89.
