This producer is basically a negociant which owns some vineyards and was started in 1998. 100% Syrah from gravelly soil. Not decanted. This was a deep purple color. Fuller body. Notes of black currants, peppercorns and iron.integrated tannins. 88 points.

Opaque core with reddish maroon rim; nose is deep and I ticking initially with very black fruit, slight tar, graphite, a hint of black pepper, and then the stable and band aid come in; palate shows a short pop of dark fruit followed by granite then straight Brett shutting this wine down, clamps down with tannin, chalky dry finish, fairly unpleasant, band aid and horsey notes linger; not for me.

Superb, solid body, well balanced tanins and acidity, still some dark fruit. Enjoyed a lot
