Tasted alongside it's Pinot and Red Blend siblings, this was the weakest of the three. There is a linear, steely flavor that is not all that palatable. One of those Cabernet's that leans more toward reed fruit than black. A little flat in the entrance of fruit. Medium bodied. I think that steely flavor is partly some young, hopefully evolving tannins. Not much oak. The finish is metallic with some red raspberry. Not my favorite, but i've had much worse for the price.
