Decanted for 1.5 hours. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cassis, mocha, licorice, vanilla and spice. Black fruit, licorice, mocha, crushed rock, spice and fine tannins on the palate. Lingering, dry finish with good depth and purity. Full bodied. Served with roast prime rib.
