Beautiful wine that demonstrates the age worthiness of quality Cru Bojo. No VA or other quirks in our bottle.
Nose of quite pure red fruit, mainly strawberry and red cherry, but with a dusty herbal note (sage perhaps) that, if served blind, I would have surely guessed this to be Sangiovese. Getting quite soft and lavish with red berry fruit on the palette, but still with grip from the acidity and tannins that keeps this balanced and serious. Will buy again.

Robe cerise foncée légèrement ambrée. Vin sur les fruits noirs et olive noire. Beaucoup de corps pour un gamay. Astringence présente, décanté 30min, mais ça aurait dû être plus. Vin qui s’approche d’un pinot. Vin intéressant, mais je soupçonne qu’il était très légèrement bouchonné.

Very intense. Still young with concentrated kirsch in the core, cherry stone also. Very delicate bitterness at the end, fine acidity, structure, juicy stuff here, clean fruit. Impressive. #Kandestederne

Good but, while a great year for Beaujolais, the fruit has largely faded. Earthy, soft tannins in finish.
