4th Saturday Brown Bagger (Our house): Double blind. Opens with a notes of dark fruit and cedar, giving way to berry, florals and sweet tobacco notes. Lush. Shows mixed red and black fruit, cherry and chocolate on the palate. Strong finish.

Excellent wine for my 66th birthday dinner of rigatoni and meatballs. Decanted for an hour. I am not much into it tastes like blackberries or earth or whatever but this is a darn good bottle of wine. It starts out slow but quickly unfolds in your mouth and has a powerful finish. It could age some more as tannins were much present but may diminish the strong finish.

Delishes dusty dry dark fruit that went incredibly well with Anita's enchaladas - a perfect pairing. Enchaladas are hard to pair a wine to, but this Cab Franc was spot on.
