  Remains fabulous! See previous notes; very smooth with soft tannins, but still lots of fruit.

  Just a fantastic wine. After a 1 hour decant it was absolutely amazing. Next 3 years I think it’s sweet spot.

  Deep red color, medium body and lots of dark fruits with light baking spices. Decent 25 second finish, with overall enjoyable by group

  Glad I held on to this bottle as long as I did. Popped and consumed with friends at a weekend get-together and this one is in the wheelhouse. Dark black Napa fruits which have come into their element and the fusion here makes for a very rounded mouthfeel throughout. This wine still has a bit of sweet youthful blackberry fruit but there is a lot of black tar, tobacco and espresso bean notes here in the middle which adds that density and complexity. This wine finishes with a softer integrated character but enough black pepper here that it went very well with the bacon wrapped beef and the grilled yellow and orange peppers with balsamic glaze. Probably need to come up with a plan to drink these sooner than later but I feel this one will be expressing nicely for the next few years before it starts to slide down the back of the curve.
