  • This wine is amaizing. 25 years old and smooth as silk. Tobacco, leather and dark berries. I drank this across three cases starting in 2001 with almost any meal you can imagine including rare steaks, roasted chicken, roasted or broiled salmon, venison, spaghetti and the final bottle with grilled Polish sausage in a bun, with grilled poblano pepper and brown mustard and a quinoa salad with roast sweet potato. We were thrilled with the pairing. This wine always got great exclamations of appreciation every meal over the years.. My last bottle. Doubt I'll find more of this aged besuty.

  • Wonderful wonderful wonderful! I have worked my way through 2 cases over 20 years, and it has gotten better and better. Ran it through a Venturi since nose was funky when It was opened. Then nose was fine leather and cherry. Had it with rare NY strip baked potato and arugula salad. Doesn't get much better.
