  Opened at friend's place with a few other wines. I figured the 2012 would be a little bit of an early drinker, so took it over a 2010. I tend to agree with Redteeth. This was a little disappointing for a Barbi BdM. Might be the vintage. My wife, a BdM fan, was favoring a Syrah that I also opened, so that tells me something. We'll see if I really have one more as my inventory says, and how it is. Maybe wait 6 mos but I don't see anything here that tells me that time in any measure is the issue.

We saved half the bottle, and it improved meaningfully the next evening. While it ultimately proved enjoyable, i was expecting more from the wine. Or is it the vintage? I'll open another bottle soon and see how it compares.
