  The fruit on this old vine Beaujolais remains vivid and fresh. The most apparent sign of aging is the prominence of the acidity. So, this might not live as long as the sublime 2005, I had at age 13. But that bottle had the advantage of never leaving the winemaker’s cellar. In short, tasty and impressive.

  About a year since the last bottle. It’s progressing very nicely. The fruit has demurred a bit but it’s still fresh and vibrant. Gentle but apparent tannins suggest this is built to last a while.

  Never cared for the Gamay grape, but this Beaujolais great. So easy to drink. Nice color, nice bouquet, really nice on the palate. Medium short finish.
