Has definitely aged well and is maturing. It’s like a wheatgrass Granny Smith Apple. Light on the nose. Crisp but not sour. Very pleased I have one more bottle. I’ll let it sit another year but not much more

A great Sauv Blanc. Solid body, but still light and refreshing. Tropical and stone fruits and bright acidity lead the way. There were some other subtle elements I couldn’t quite put my mind on that added a lot to the depth of flavor. Maybe not a great QPR, but a great wine.

First bottle since last August, and was quite disappointed. I expected subtlety, but it just plain lacked substance. Tasted inexpensive (and it's not), dilute.

I felt my last bottle came on with some serious air. I did not have time so I gave it a rough agitation after opening and in 30 minutes, it was singing. pale yelow color belies what jumps from the glass - ripe tropical sauvingon blanc elements and gracious palate. Acidity is in perfect balance with fruit and that is no mean trick. Upchurch is a genius
If you feel uncomfortable agitating the wine, let it breath an hour or two or sleep in you cellar. 5+14+17+8

Much improved since first tasting where I was not impressed - it clearly needed several months in bottle to develop
Now showing the complexity derived from concrete and sur lie treatment, on top of delicious gooseberry fruit
Nice, very nice
