Magnum. Ready to go from the start, an excellent nose, classic white burgundy and more of the old school, concentrated, great balance and super length, just got better and better over a few hours, just great

From magnum. Wide open nose. Hint of banana peel but not overpowering. Classic puligny spice on the nose. Again, refreshing and high toned with some spearmint notes. Very rich but still precise. Really good.

Louis Jadot 2017 Vintage en Primeur Barrel Tasting (Brasserie Margeaux - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. From barrel sample gathered in October. Ripe, rounded start with lots of ripe orchard fruit and orange peel. Fat start, mineral-flecked long finish with enough lingering fat. Very good 92-93 point potential. Almost as good as the Bâtard-Montrachet tasted next.
