Really light ruby in the glass, beautiful to look at. The nose shows some reduction at first, but quickly opens up to notes of strawberries, cherry, red plum. Featherweight structure and soooo easy to drink. Somewhat sharp acid, but I see this calming down with cellaring. Good stuff.

{screwcap, 13.5%} Youthful, translucent garnet/deep pink. Youthful nose of strawberry, musk and a hint of dark clove or something? Perhaps it’s oak, but it’s not so evident on the palate, which has low/medium dusty tannins and medium acidity. It’s got spicy aspects too, with an even presence on the palate although it’s overall fairly simple and not especially concentrated. Light weight overall, although there is a sweet spicy persistence which beguiles a bit. For the price (around $20ish) you couldn’t complain. Don’t leave it too long in a cellar, because I don’t think it’s really got the stuffing to age for very long.

Clear bright red. Twiggy red cherry nose. Interesting. Juicy. Medium-bodied. Complex. Forest floor. Lovely grip. Soft. Lovely mouth perfume. Really good.

A more Continental style drunk much too young. I'll give the next one more time.
