2nd of 6. This is aging beautifully, and is starting to open up on the nose and gaining body on the palate. This still has a remarkably youthful presentation - no signs of oxidation. The nose bursts from the glass at this point with fresh lemons, lemon zest, sea shells and tropical fruits. The palate is the same, with the citrus lingering on the long-ish finish. The abv is 13% and the acidity is fairly high on this medium-bodied, sleek wine. I think this will age well for the next decade or even longer, but it is singing now.

Much improved compared to the previous bottle tasted 15 months ago, with more upside ahead. Classic Chablis with excellent intensity--tropical fruits, melons, citrus zest, oyster shell. Plenty of weight and power on the palate. Think there's another 5-10 years of positive development ahead of this, but just now starting to provide some pleasure.

Very consistent with my last note. Salty sea air and crushed shells and stone give it a spellbinding nose. Not aggressive acidity with really nice balance and length. A steal at $44.

From Last Bottle. Golden hue. Nose is a bit on the muted side, but classic chardonnay--tropical fruits, sea spray, a hint of spice suggesting some oak usage. Palate adds a hint of citrus. Medium to medium plus bodied with well-balanced acidity.
89 for now but I suspect this will improve with age.

From Jimmy’s cellar. For a Grand Cru modest on intensity but quite decent. Good balance and creamy
