78 pts

Ok, certainly much younger than I would typically open a Rouget Passetoutgrains. Lots of fun black cherry and sweet spice that is very Pinot Noir, but this seems more Russian River to me than Burgundy. I'd err on drinking this while still young, fresh, and precocious, given its warmth.
The greatest disappointment of 2022 so far. This wine really doesn’t taste much like burgundy, at least not any I have ever had. Not sure what the point of this wine is. Too extracted, heavy and 15 % alcohol? Oof.

Disgusting. 15% abv. Pitch black with purple tints. Pure candy and very high alcohol in the mouth and aftertaste. Disjointed, overripe, warm... This wine should be 11-11,5% perhaps 12 in a good year. Not sure what the idea behind this was, but like all other wines tasted from Rouget in 2020 they were harvested wayyyy too late. Beaune 1er cru Greves 15,5% yikes!
