Drank with baked chicken. Aroma is pretty much all oak. Taste is heavy oak, and butter as well - not a good combo for me. Maybe a bit of lighter stone fruit taste, but it's really hard to catch through the oak.

Liked this better than past bottles. The oak wasn't as predominant as before, but it could be because I took longer to drink this bottle. Had some decent citrus (I picked up some lime) and lychee flavors. Still does have that buttery oak taste in there that doesn't do it for me.

Approachable but complex and ideal for pairing with many foods or for enjoying on its own. We have much respect for and experience with the noble Chardonnay grape. Utilization of traditional Burgundian practices like whole cluster pressing, barrel fermentation and sur lie aging are used. Color is light straw, aroma is lemon, honey, vanilla with hint of orange blossom. Flavor: full-bodied with crisp acidity of citrus, vanilla bean and flinty mineral accents

Light golden yellow color; butter, pineapple, ripe lemon nose; big, creamy textured, vanilla, pineapple, lemon cream palate, well made for the type; medium finish

Just too much oak and butter flavor that seem so typical of Chardonnay for me.
