Golden to amber. Orange, actually, if ever there was one, hinting to a much older wine. But the nose is fresh with apple and quince peel, sage, marzipan, some honey and orange blossom. The palate also offers a wide array of aromas from those areas, quite fresh and full-bodied. There's apple cake and grapefruit as well. Intruiging, especially on the second day out of rather big glasses. The finish is lingering and there's that Forst vineyard bite. Like little needle stings all over your tongue, there's some rather pleasant bitterness. A little hot, but very interesting and great. Was very good with peppery Iberico Cutlets, potatoes and asparagus, actually. Drink.
