  From magnum. Quick decant (restaurant). This is drinking great. A bit of barnyard funk initially but gone fast. Nice dark berry fruit, anise, plum palate.

  Blind tasting lunch. This was a lovely surprise. Also here, we were debating Chinati or super tuscan. Very dense wine for a Chianty, properly ripe fruit, some dark notes, structured but not over the top. Masculine but now with 22 years of age, well integrated. This has a long life ahead.

  Tasted blind. Double-decanted. Slightly medicinal, red berry fruit, dried tomato, herbs and a just hints of aging notes. A bit blurry aromatics and lacking precision, rather limited intensity but otherwise nice. Well-integrated tannin, palatable and nicely fresh even if on balance leaning a bit too heavy towards the acidity.
