  • Brought this to New Ubin Seafood for dinner with my family and sister-in-law. We had foie gras with soft boiled egg, luncheon meat fries, seafood hor fun, claypot carbonara, sambal kang kong, har cheong gai, angus ribeye, crispy pork jowl, red bean pancake, and kaya toast.

Background: The 2005 Warrenmang Luigi 30 Years Tribute is a special wine crafted by the renowned Warrenmang Vineyard & Resort to commemorate 30 years of winemaking excellence. This limited edition release pays tribute to Luigi Bazzani, the founder and visionary behind Warrenmang, and showcases the winery's commitment to producing exceptional wines.

Decanted for an hour before consuming. Dark red-purple in colour. On the nose, the power and opulence of the wine is unmistakable. Overwhelming without being imposing. Was a lot more powerful when it was younger. Now, in place of the arrogant and imposing youth, charm and grace are slowly but surely taking over.

An awesome bottle. Has been a fan of this label for a while and was reluctant to open this, but the generosity of the fruits and the richness and maturity was simply amazing and breathtaking. Notes of ripe blackberries, plums, and black cherries blend with subtle hints of tobacco, leather, and cedar, creating a captivating bouquet. In the glass, the rich dark fruit character continues to unfold, accompanied by layers of spice, dark chocolate, and a touch of vanilla. The wine's well-integrated tannins provide a firm structure and contribute to its impressive aging potential.

Beautifully balanced and elegant, the wine finishes with a long lingering finish. Took my breathe away for a moment there.

Had a case of 12 initially, and this is my last bottle. All good things do come to an end, eventually.

  • Still a beautiful Pyrenees blend.
Excellent fruit mostly dark but still hint of red. Lovely mid weight texture and a nice spicy finish.

  • Opened this at Kai Garden over lunch with my parents and spouse.

Purple in colour with brickish red hues. Lots of dark red fruits, ripe plums, aged leather, black pepper and liquorice. Smooth, with good intensity and a long lingering finish.

A gem at 15 years and still lively with ageing potential.

  • Beautiful fruit dark and a touch of red, just the faintest hint of acid, lovely texture, a wonderful tribute to a passionate wine maker and restauranteur.
