  • Inky dark purple, blueberry, blackberry nose. Lightly dry mineral with anise notes and chewy tannins, bright berry fruit forward berry compote rendition that is very refreshing with some lemon notes and tartness for balance. Bold fruit, cherries, black currants which is a little bold for my palate now, but others desiring a fruit forward wine should love it. From previous bottles, I will just let it sit for a couple days and it should settle into a quite enjoyable bottle, PnP 90 with potential. A couple of nights later and starting to show it's potential. Iodine with tart cherry, balance is good with bold fruit and chewy tannins. Ready to rock! Enjoy.

  • Inky dark purple, cassis nose with cedar. Tart oaky tannins, bright berry in a fruit forward rendition that is very refreshing. Bold fruit, cherries, black currants. It's been awhile since I have ventured into the dark side, but this is good for a change. Lovely fruit on the PnP, tart tannins on the finish, good balance all around. On the second night, it became jammy and the alcohol was too dominant, so I shelved it for better times, on the third night was well integrated and more reserved, good acid to balance the fruit, super on night four. Time is it's best reward.

  • Black cherry and balsamic aromas. Tight knit with a medium body and flavors of Fig, black cherry, and red currant. Tannins are slightly drying and finishing with hints of baking spice, tar, and cigar box.
Decanted 45min. Very enjoyable and ready to drink or cellar a few more years.

  • Inky dark purple, purple fruit nose. Dry, full body with soft, bold tannins. Bing cherries with a hint of pit bitter, light acid along with the tannins and fruit for a balanced whole.
