I was shocked to see the drink by date. I'm thinking this wine developed a second life! It has a thick dark cherry, blackberry spice and sweet tobacco aroma. on the palate it has a soft leathery blackberry, the finish continues with the dark fruit, a little tannin, mild tobacco and slight alcohol. It hasn't faded after 3 days and based on everything, I believe this could go another 2 yrs!

Has the expected cherry and leather along with a lot of spice, medium to full-body, slightly creamy texture that borders on being syrupy, nice complexity and racy acidity. Probably entering the end of its prime drinking window as the fruit seems to be just bit dried-out. Very enjoyable, but I hate syrupy wines and this had just enough to be noticeable.

Wine is now more integrated versus the last bottle. Coming around now... I think the drinking window is open. Good effort from Viader. Deep fruit and now the tannins have calmed. Nice.

Multifaceted, with surprising complexity and length. Not so powerful, but really interesting. Really expressive. I'm not sure how others have rated it so low.

A much better bottle than the last. Fruity, slight acidity, bitter aftertaste. Velvety and low tannins. Average wine for the price.
