  • A smokiness to the nose that I like. Good depth and length, but this is not ready to show all its cards yet. Check back around 2030.

  • Very intense, concentrated - much too young, of course. Lemon confit galore, good depth, minerals, quite a firm auslese - with a great potential. 92++

  • Almost clear light olive golden color.
Nose faint wax, pear, hints of florals.
Palate a slightly mint/herbal note, faint sweetness, ethereal lightness. Nectarine flavor to the fruit, and prominent lime.

Love the purity of the fruit here, and the wonderful balance. Drinking well at this young juncture but obviously time to give.

Eiswein fruit profile comes to mind. granny smith apple, minerality and citrus. Little or No botrytis. surprised by lack of viscus fruit and pronounced acidity after reading about how hot the vintage weather was. High extract and touch of grippy tannins, balanced no doubt and Lite on its feet, If the fruit profile widens and acidity softens this will rate higher. Needs a full two hours of decant to show its best Purchased as direct import upon release, stored accordingly and enjoyed 40-50 with spicy Indian butter chicken. Drink now for fresh fruity profile or lay it down for 8 years... Na zdrowie
