Community Tasting Notes (3) Median Score: 88 points

  • Inky tooth-stainer of a red. Quite smooth, ripe and fruity, reminds me a bit of a Chianti Classico crossed with an Aussie shiraz.

  • Decent table wine. As the prior review states, this does throw a lot of sediment, so let it settle and decant. Dark berry fruits with harsh tannins and a little too much acidity. This improved with air, but not the best QPR. 87-88.

  • Decanted for an hour. This has loads of sediment (seems to be true of all reds fromthis winery), so letting the bottle settle before decanting is a good idea.
Intense inky purple color, fruity nose and loads of stewed dark fruit on the palate with a touch of acidity and smooth tannins. Very smooth and with more character than I expected. The finish is a little short and one dimensional, otherwise this would have been 90+.
