The aromatics are stunning - florals and berries. The palate shows roasted meat, black pepper, and dark fruit. There is a wildness to it. It is so good.

Lavender or sage or some sort of bushy flower leaps from the glass. Nice brightness and structure. Savory, and while there is fruit, this is not screaming California, which I mean in the nicest way. The finish is crisp and long.

Fast forward to two hours after I opened the bottle. This is very well integrated, and clearly Syrah. Roasted meat, dark berry fruit, a touch of smoke, it’s all there. Still quite youthful, but in a good place for drinking, I would expect this to be very long lived based on the structural balance, and the depth of the fruit. Loving it now.

Absolutely gorgeous. We are sorry they will no longer be making wine, but we will cherish the wines we have left.
