This bottle was great!! MSUwine nailed the notes. My first of four bottles that I bought from Dan. Another great white wine from Massican. Dan truly is a wizard at his craft. His ability to create great wines over and over again no matter the vintage is impressive.

This is fun. I do not think it fits the bill of a $35 or whatever bottle. I find it pleasant, with nice fruit. Good acidity and balance. I would be into this at $20.

This original and refreshing Pinot Grigio blend is everything I ever want from Massican - unique, tasty, and affordable. Light yellow in color; medium in body; aromas of gooseberry, fresh pear, and white flowers. If the aromas are somewhat muted, the flavors are more alive, with notes of Meyer lemon, lime, and saline, with a viscous but lively finish. Blend of 69% Pinot Grigio and 31% Greco (dunno about the latter varietal, but it tastes damn good!). 12.4% alcohol. Drink in next few years. Extra point for being well-made + well-priced + original... i.e., let's hear it for small miracles.
Opened this to pair vegetable and ground turkey stuffed bell peppers and was lovely. Lemon and minerals with wonderful acidity. One of my favorite Pinot Gris based blends out there.

Racy acidity and chalk lead through this lemon driven blend that puckers the mouth pleasantly and lingers on the tongue longer than the usual pinot grigio blend usually leads to.
