Double-decanted, served at 16,5C. I'd say this is firmly in the secondary phase (finally!), and is drinking in near top form. I say near, because I like some tertiary, as well. This releases 6 years post vintage, having spent one year in the bottle, one year in barrique, and four years in Slavonian casks. A serious wine on all fronts - flavor, complexity, balance, etc. 100% Refosco. highly recommended
Patio Party Summer Solstice June 2015: A real heavy hitter with a crazy dark color profile, massive tannins, but a balanced and delicious palate of dark cherries, black currants, and plum with some nutty accents. This seems like it could last for years but why wait.
