Decanted 4 hours prior to tasting. Air time seemed to have resolved my last experience with this wine from several months ago. The oak was totally integrated, undertone of red plum covered with creamy viscous creme de cacao mouthfeel. More tactile than cerebral.

Popped and poured. Large round mid-palate of dark plum, touch of tar. Oak still too noticeable, though. Tasted fresher day one than day two.
