This bottle was a marked improvement from my first bottle. Off dry, but well balanced with a real mouth coating texture that created a long finish. Fruit was citrus and some stonefruit, with a herbal, earthy note and some minerality. Nice intensity. Lovely riesling.

Unexpectedly off-dry, given previous vintages, to the point of being medium sweet. Chewy, ripe lime with enough acidic lift to prevent its being syrupy. Needs a few more years of aging me thinks

This is the sweetest Old Vines I've tasted from Orofino. Firmly on the off dry scale, as noted on the back label (nice to see the scale shown), there is a concentrated intensity to the wine, with mainly lime and other citrus but some stonefruit notes too. Is there a touch of smoke showing here? I may be imagining it - it's so much in the news now - but I caught a slight bitterness on the finish. It is very young, though, so perhaps it just needs more time. At a B+ level right now.

This old world style riesling took three days to fully open up, transitioning from soft/sweet to layered/minerally. Acidity is sufficient but not huge; will be at its best in 2023 - 2025. Excellent.
