  My last bottle and a winner. This still has plenty of time ahead. Decanted 45 minutes. Medium lemon yellow color. Cold room temperature which was correct. Tons of extract and density here, almost too much at first. Mouthfeel was not viscous but almost harsh. Classic Chablis with salty, lemon and jasmine notes. Very restrained. Great with food of course but something creamy would be best given the structure. Part of me wishes I had kept this for another five years but it was also really wonderful.

  Immediately clear this was Chablis. Quite elegant and balanced, acidity starting to soften a bit. This was lovely but maybe not a wow wine as their Clos can be.

  6th of 12, pnp, soft final quarter of cork but perfect level, back on track showing last July's bottle to be an outlier, fat for Chablis still but not blowsy (weight of top Chassagne), fine minerality and salinity, upside still, no rush. VF (18.5).
