very dark red - cassis cab sauv nose predominated over cab franc green olives (thankfully!) and malbec blackberries - full rich mouth with good acid-fruit-tannin balance - moderate 10-15 sec finish - a well made blend that continues to drink delightfully well - my only reason for a somewhat lower score is the lack of development of complex aromas and flavors - but maybe we're drinking all of these Argentine wines too young, and we should wait for the "20-year" rule before opening a Bordeaux!

Delightfully rich and smooth. Black centre, red/purple rim. Stains the glass. Surprisingly little nose. Heavy, tannic, good acidity. Explosion of flavour in the mouth. Blackcurrant and blackberry. Aftertaste lingers for at least a minute. Lovely, clean finish. Astringent, not jammy. Pure enjoyment now, but will improve if I can stop drinking it !

No sign of ageing yet. Red rim, dark centre. Huge, fruity nose. Full and layered in the mouth, long blackcurrant and Malbec finish. Delicious. So much more exuberant than the Bordeaux equivalent. Mellowing, smooth. Interesting to see what happens. Not cheap, but good value.

45/25/25/5 Cabernet/Malbec/Cab Franc/Petit Verdot. Medium plus nose shows lovely dark tones of baking spice, fresh herbs, coffee grounds, mocha, blackberry, cassis. Palate matches with serious structure and tasty layers, espresso, dried blackberry, baking spice, menthol, fresh herbs, black pepper, dark chocolate, cassis. Medium plus tannins, high alcohol, fruit holds up to all of it. Superb stuff and nice value.
