  Two hour double decant. Deep dark vibrant magenta color. Anise, cassis , plum, rum cake, and marshmallow root. Smooth, dry palate. Firm, lower intensity tannins on the medium long+ finish.
  
  The licorice was too dominant on this guy. It distracted from an otherwise solid Napa CS. I’ve enjoyed the baseline Bennett CS, but this is my first ever reserve (I think).
