Exploring Northern Rhone Syrah (Paris): meh, very ripe, alcohol quite present. Tannins are a little drying, . Maybe a touch of volatile, or even a slight metallic aftertaste ? Probably not the best bottle for a showing but was very forgettable on the night.

Second of three bottles. An hour in the decanter was about right. Drinking very nicely. Remarkably smooth and balanced Hermitage. Delightful. Will probably drink my last bottle within the next couple years.

Young, very young, but balance, structure, tannins all show promising future and approachable today. Silky smooth balanced fruit showing what Northern Rhones should be. Slightly pricy but should earn its worth over the next 5-10 years

Very young and structured, dense, good ripeness but also fresh enough. Feels young. Best after 2029.

Napa Wine Club Tasting #2 (Napa CA GVM): Funky nose, sweet red fruit, not that memorable.
