Nice rose, nothing to write home about. beautiful color, not overly sweet, not very complex. however, this is my favorite from this winery (what does that tell ya?).

If you visit Napa, this is one of the places that is WAY over the top. The place literally is a castle. Why a castle? Because the owner really wanted one and wanted something that people would come visit. It literally is a tourist trap. Probably wouldn't go back, especially after the person hosting the wine tasting ripped on other wineries. That being said, this one was a good rose that we'll be able to enjoy during the summer.
From their website: An Italian-style rose with bright aromas of cherry, spice and ripe berries. Lovely black raspberry, plum and strawberry flavors in the mouth and just a hint of sweetness leads to a creamy, round finish. The lingering fresh fruit flavors go well with lighter fare such as Bruschetta, melon and fresh mozzarella. Perfect for Sunday brunch, picnics, or warm weather. Other Notes:

Dry, dominant note of cherries. Lacking in anything memorable.
