Dekantert i fire timer, fulgt i glasset. Åpner relativt lukket, noe smør og fat - god syrestruktur, som demper seg en del med luft. Ikke den mest aromatiske vinen, men fortsatt godt med burgundske toner etter fire/fem timer i karaffel. Bør vente et par år på å åpne neste.

Dyp strågul farge. Lett parfymert aroma med preg av sitrus, smør og eik. Relativt fyldig, kunne hatt litt mer syre, bra lengde. Bra vin, men fortrekker mer syre og intensitet.

Tasting at Louis Jadot (Beaune): More fresh, citric and mineral than the Narvaux. Plenty of matchstick on the palate. Will reward a few years in the cellar. 88-90

Burgundy, Day 1 (Beaune, France): A little cloudy from the wine just having finished its assemblage and not yet having had the time to settle. The stirring of all the lees and such potentially releases more SO2, which made this wine seem a lot more reduced than the others. I'm not sure this was a fully representative expression of the finished wine, so I'll reserve judgement. Overall though, this was a little leaner and not as complex as the excellent Narvaux.
