PnP. Medium burgundy color in the glass, somewhat opaque. On the nose fresh flowers and maybe some raspberry. Fruit forward on the palate, a nice hit of raspberry, and a hint of strawberry. Nice mid weight finish. A real enjoyable wine at a great price (around $25) from a reliable Sierra foothills producer.

Drank better on day 1. More raspberry fruited than strawberry which I did not expect. Violets, not reds. Dark in color too. If served blind I would not have guessed grenache. I did enjoy this but not what I anticipated. El Dorado fruit I suppose.
