Deep garnet in color. Nose of cherries, leather, and menthol. Tastes of dark cherries, milk chocolate, tobacco, and hints of vanilla and menthol. Resolved tannins and thinner viscosity. Drink now and over the next seven years.

Decanted at 1:30 then replaced in bottle to take to a tasting dinner and drunk late in the evening. Medium dark garnet color with a huge amount of sediment requiring careful decanting. It is somewhat light to medium bodied for vintage port but very enjoyably restrained. Plenty of ripe red and black fruit and strong hints of chocolate and blackberry liqueur especially on the finish. Great with some strong cheese.

Relatively gentle, resolved yet simple aromatic profile doesn't prepare you for what follows, which is still a muscled mouthful. Agree with previous tasters that time will still benefit.

Very young and straightforward now. Pure, dark fruit. Some spicyness and lots of tannins in the finish. I will try to hold the last bottle for 10 more years
