Community Tasting Notes (9) Avg Score: 89.1 points

  • Interesting wine. Popped and poured. Not much on the nose... A little citrus, a little mineral. Medium body. Lovely citrus flavors - particularly lemon and lemon candy - some herbs and good chalky minerality. There is also a saline briny element I like (reminder if a skin contact white). Nice length. Refreshing and somewhat complex.

  • Light reflective gold hue with a hint of green. Strong green apples and quince on the nose. Notes of quince dominate with sour wild green apples, gooseberry, and under-ripe kiwi. There is an almost walnut shell level of bitterness that somehow complements rather than distracts from the wine . Long, bitter lime zest and gooseberry finish. Much better than I remember the last bottle being.

  • Bright, somewhat glowing light yellow with a slight green twinge. Nose of Country Time Lemonade. Quite mineral with oyster shell notes, yuzu citrus, and a bit of unripe honeydew. In a much better place than the last time I tried it.

  • Vitamin-rich color. Mineral-laden and slightly sweet lemon-lime zest. In a hyphenated way. Strongly acidic and energetic with a rainbow of citrus and melon flavors along with a waxy element. Oily texture that belies the acidic structure. Long finish that showcases the minerals, the wax, and the citrus. Refreshing and tasty, and quite well-made, but as it isn’t particularly to my taste it probably deserves a better score than I am giving it.

  • There was a note I read after drinking that summed up my thoughts.... more interesting than enjoyable. Nice acidity, minerality, and lemon quince elements. Maybe it was too you f but it just dint have enough to get to recommended.
