  • Light, pretty good taste drink now. Overpriced at $70.

  • This savory and earthy Cabernet blend is drinking fine right now, with an Old World tint that some may find quite appealing. Cherry red in color, medium in body, nose of blackberry, baking spices, and pepper. Tastes of raspberry, menthol, graphite, and rosemary, with a light and grainy finish. Blend of 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, and 11% Petit Verdot. 14.3% alcohol.

To my palate, this wine lacks the intensity and roundness that I hope for, even in a more traditional Cabernet (e.g., Corison). That said, it's well-made and well-balanced. Although some may enjoy its medium-weight profile and earthy funkiness, it's just not my style. Drink in next few years.
