Served blind Lemon, slight toast, smidge reductive, sweet spice and slight butter. Juicy, citrus, touch of stone fruit, a little textured. Slight alcohol warmth on the finish. I guessed chardonnay, new world, victorian 2014-16

The younger sibling to Cooinda Vale, this is still clearly a Pooley Chardonnay and was my wife’s preference. Leaner with oyster shell, flinty minerality, less new oak and enjoyable oatmeal. 12.5% ABV.
