Tasting with high end cabs and Bordeaux. One of my favorites. Best after being opened a few hours. Drink or Hold.

Our generous friend DS brought a bottle to oor Bordeaux and Napa wine tasting. Expressive nose of cassis and camphor sweet tobacco, well balanced with medium tannins and a long finish Drinking well with time open.

The perfect Napa valley Cabernet. Drank at home with friends in December 2022. Still plenty of power left. Almost a hot / alcohol hunt on the nose but perfectly delicious and unique pallet. I had the same expression on the 06 Booker Syrah and the 98 Alban Syrah. Both spectacular wines akin to this.
