I find this wine to be very tart - like eating morello (sour) cherries straight off a tree! It's very fruity but the fruit is very fresh and abundant but a bit overbearing. It was interesting to try and the first pour I almost enjoyed but can't drink it by the glass. Perhaps it would work well with pasta? Something to balance out the acidity.

Needs 2 hours to breath. A slightly more fruity flavor than 2006. Explosive, in fact, with smooth spice and tannins. BBQ Ribs!
