Typical orange wine. Color of dark rust. Bold initial feel on palate with a slight astringency on the finish. The flavor profile is dark orange, orange rind, a bit of pomegranate. Overall a very nice expression of the intended style

Color: deep orange with old gold highlights. Nice viscous legs
Nose: light medium intensity. Somewhat muted with sherry overtones (not sure if maderized); opened a bit on second day... a bit of dust; dried fruits; nutmeg
Body/flavor: medium body; mouth-filling flavors of dried fruit with cedar notes. A bit hot... even with modest alcohol Aftertaste: short finish
I'm unable to tell if wine maderized... some sherry in nose and flavor. Will add another comment when we finish the bottle

3 hour slo-o at home. While the wine has taken on a deeper caramel-orange hue over the past 5 years in the cellar, the wine continues to drink beautifully with superb balance complexity and a lengthy finish.

I bought this at release figuring that I’d give another orange-ish wine another chance. Not my cup of tea. And it really does look like tea. Good aromas of toasted almond, dried flowers and dried fruit. Subtle flavors at best with much too much tannin for the level of organoleptic pleasure.
I did not enjoy this when opened last night, so reinserted the cork and left this on the counter. Revisited today from both last night’s glass and a fresh pour, but alas, it was largely unchanged.

So brownorange (see photo) it seems spoiled- but it’s not. Textural, mineral, stone fruits and bing cherry and kumquat. Needs 2 hrs to open
