Weygandt Wine BYO (Weygandt Wines, Cleveland Park, Washington D.C.): Had silky red fruits on the nose with a touch of earthy/mushroomy accents that gave it nice balance. The palate was relatively rich for the Jura with nice cranberry and cherry tones all kept in place by the great underlying acidity. Enjoyed the density and grip of the wine. Overall, this is quite good!

to start, i like the earthiness of Jura, but many do not. Light Pink/ with oragne colorsr. Nose of Earthy/farm, sour cherry, Palate of sour cherry, sweet indian spices, with tart berry ohn finiish. Good acidity.

Clear ruby color of light intensity, Nose of red wine vinegar, crushed rocks and pickle juice. On the palate hints of CO2 spritz. I hated this wine. I want to give the benefit of the doubt by saying the bottle was flawed so I won't assign a score. Also left it open for hours an no change. Not drinkable in my book .. I poured it down the drain.

Classic red jura combination of spice, sour cherry, and soil. Limited/no tannins. Very well made. A great wine for the price for those just a bit adventurous.

Very Burgundian nose of sour cherry, earth, hint of orange, some pepper. This added in complexity over time. On taste a very nice sour cherry, mineral, not as complex as the nose, but as the french say 'croquant.' Very nice wine. My first red from the Jura.
