Washington State (Excelsior, MN): Bacon, black fruits, minerals, smoke and pepper. Good concentration and medium finish. Very balanced effort and hitting its peak. Recommendation: Drink now to 2021. Might go longer but why risk it.

Very nice, well balanced wine. On the nose is black raspberry, smoke, and perfume of lavender. It has a creamy mouthfeel with plum and smoky bacon on the palate. Lovely long finish. This wine is a winner!

Beautiful bottle. This was one nice Syrah, started with great jammy fruit on the palate and then moved right to the bacon / smoky fruit on the finish and it went on forever.

Popped and poured. Nose was full of dark fruit and smoke. Palate was just perfect with plum and deep dark fruit and there was some bacon fat. The finish was really long with nice mellow tannins and nice smoke. This was a really nice balanced treat. Good juice!
