  • 3 cm ullage, not much really, cork was saturated but not crumbly.
Light gold but not heavily coloured.
Beautiful fragrance of white flowers, herb gardens, talc, hint of citrus rind, pith, deep and smooth.
Medium weight, very nicely balanced, no weird old flavours, but definitely a big palate. Citrus zest and a little honeysuckle, backed by crushed herbs, mineral spice, well hidden oak. Finish is bright and long, with clean fruit and spice flavours. Excellent acid, no wonder it's kept this well.
