{cork, 12.7%} Fading garnet, developing nose with a touch of prune, a whiff of volatility, all wrapped in a recognisably pinot-like coating of aging stalks and berries. The palate is starting to thin out somewhat; tannins have faded away; the wine is now quite light-bodied, mostly tasting of old fruit rather than true barnyard/earth/forest floor characters. Getting near the end of the road, but the view is still there just for a little while longer.
