  Last bottle - a bit sharp to begin with but after 30 minutes in the glass started opening up with earthy undertones mixed into a cherry fruit concoction that reminded me of an old Chianti rather than Burgundy. This has been a strange journey with this half case bought about 10 years ago.

  For me this seems tired, although there was a hint of acidity to begin with and then after an hour in the glass, earthy undertones. If you seek fruit, look elsewhere

  decanted for an hour. don't usually decant burg and helped open up without diluting the fresh cherry and earthy aromas. paired nicely with smoked pork butt.

  Sour cherry medium body - very drinkable but it did not blow me away. I don’t really see this as likely to improve.
