Dark red with herbal nose. Lots of fruit well structured with some acidity and tannins, and an interesting cinnamon note. I didn't get a complexity to call it remarkable, but really very good. At ths price, it is a good restaurant wine.

Very enjoyable, especially considering the relatively modest price. Has that nice magenta Merlot color. Spicy fruit and some black tea on the nose. Layered intense fruit, starting with red cherry, strawberry and cranberry, advancing to the next level with the darker berries. There are some secondary flavors of black tea. spice and leather. The use of American oak combined with the addition of small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot make this a unique wine that has a feminine softness with some serious backbone. . Noticeable but civilized tannins. This is one of those wines that make you want to take another sip. Also has a finish that you can enjoy for a minute or two.
