Not a lot of aroma. Very full wine with well-balanced flavors. Tastes sweet and juicy with eggs, tastes of chalky tannins with fruit, tastes slightly acidic with dark chocolate. It's a good table wine that pairs well with a variety of foods. Dark plum color, fast legs, quick finish. It feels like the folks at Goose Ridge got all they could out of reasonable quality grapes.

Dark and lovely. Aromas are Powerful, even after decant, which I recommend for this wine. Syrah presense very evident In the nose with aromas of smoky dark fruits, plum, coffee and cassis rounding out with huge vanilla and oak. The palate is full bodied and full throttle, brimming with dark fruit, spice, vanilla, wood and coffee. Tannins are good and acidity is definitely spunky! Should last for a few more years. Alcohol is there but doesn't come across as hot. The finish is long and enjoyable!

(Goose Ridge Vineyards g3 Red Wine Columbia Valley) Aromatically quiet with aromas of black cherry, brambly fruit, roasted coffee bean, and spice. Palate is tart with concentrated fruit but is a bit rough around the edges with somewhat astringent tannins. 41% Syrah, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot. 14.1% alcohol. Sample provided by winery.
