Quite different from my last bottle. More lime, green apples, hint of bacon. Great concentration, very fresh with crisp acidity, discrete mousse, hardly any visible bubbles, tight and firm finish with great length. Fantastic champagne.

It's a fine line between elegant and boring and I am not sure if this Champagne is just elegantly boring at the moment. Very dry and true to its Mesnil terroir, I am sure it will benefit from a long period of ageing. Right now, it's too expensive for what it is.

A little shy from the get go. It improves with air and time in the glass but the nose never really revealed itself. The palate is tremendous though. Wonderful on its ow and even better with shrimps on freshly baked bread.

Not the best bottle I've had. Rich, with yellow apples, citrus and decent minerality. Average length and concentration.

Does L.2005 on the label indicate vintage 2005? This is far from being as good as before. Lacks concentration and freshness.
